Position Title: Global Sales Account Manager

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: VP Industry Relations and Global Sales Director

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Global Sales Account Manager is responsible for lead generation and client retention of strategic 3rd party accounts in the Midwest. Working together with the Global Sales Director in the area of ongoing client management, the Global Sales Account Manager will coordinate increased client engagement plans to develop and support top line revenue growth through a collective team effort. 

This position has a strong focus on moving market share to AlliedPRA from key 3rd party accounts, mainly Maritz, BIW and Motivaction.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Account Management

  • Acts as additional contact (aside from GSD) to Maritz, BIW and Motivaction.
  • Develop relationships and create new business opportunities from assigned client base through introductions, office visits and ongoing prospecting efforts
  • Coordinate with GSD on master contracts, office-level contract templates, tariffs, etc.
  • Acts as additional contact and support multi-city RFPs, and smaller scale accounts/opportunities within assigned key accounts.
  • Support 3rd party Sales Missions, Client Meetings, and Sales Calls.
  • Assists in creating and delivering client presentations for strategic clients as needed
  • Provide ongoing updates to Salesforce on key account data to include opportunity creation, activities, PPE feedback, and client insights.
  • Provide support on maintaining Sales Calendars, Master Account List, and Preferred Agreement documents updated with offices and within Salesforce.
  • Act as subject matter expert for team on all key account needs in AlliedPRA proprietary databases including EVED, Cvent and Ariba Accounts.
  • Work together with AlliedPRA offices to ensure completion of program development according to client specifications and budget.
  • Support proposal review process and additional sales documentation for accuracy before delivery to the client.
  • Process fully qualify leads and help develop program ideas for new opportunities in tandem with our local offices.
  • Responsible for program development according to specifications of client.
  • Collaborate with the GSD Team on Quarterly Account Plans and deliver on appropriate action items outline within the plan for the Global Sales Account Manager role.
  • Play an active role to ensure the sales and gross profit goals are met or exceeded for the team.
  • Provide weekly update on generated opportunities, significant client feedback or concerns and works with leadership to initiate prompt corrective action when necessary.

 

Additional GSD Team Responsibilities 

  • Attend site inspections and client FAM's as required.
  • Support Industry Event planning for SITE, MPI and IMEX hosted buyer events as needed.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual team, department and company meetings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities within client projects as required or requested.

  

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience, or a combination thereof.  
  • 2 years of Experience Design experience (Account Management) DMC, corporate incentive travel, hospitality or related experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively manage and handle multiple diverse tasks simultaneously, while remaining detail oriented. 
  • Proven ability to work and lead in a team environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills (calculating percentages, proposals using mathematical equations).
  • Must be proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and industry specific software.
  • Ability to promote AlliedPRA and its product to clients, supplier/partners, staff and other members of the general public.
  • Ability to travel throughout the area and must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to work in a home office
