Position: Commuter Shuttle Operations Analyst

Summary of Position: This position reports directly to the AlliedPRA Transportation Manager and is supervised by our client's Transportation Management team. 

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all transportation programs provided to our client's employees are safe, reliable and on-time and that all transportation technology solutions and services provided to our client's company are effective, and relevant to existing operations. You will be responsible for managing special projects as required by the client's Transportation Management team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and communicating key reporting and analyses that will direct the performance of the client's transportation operations system
  • Oversee scheduling efforts with focus on improving existing schedules, identifying areas for ridership opportunity, stop identification, route building and implementation followed with system updates and in vehicle configurations
  • Works in conjunction with Program Manager to identify and solve operational challenges and implement solutions
  • Understand and improve our client company's various transportation management systems.
  • Manage existing Transportation Program database and provide analysis on ridership trends and other program metrics
  • Work strategically using data analysis to develop program and schedule improvements
  • Provide transportation team with in vehicle equipment addition recommendations
  • Work with transportation team in a collaborative team environment to improve program operations
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to the staff and key stakeholders including but not limited to weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on program operations/improvements
  • Attend and/or participate in special events and promotions advocating transportation alternatives
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in related field
  • Relevant experience in understanding corporate shuttle or transportation/programs needs and requirements
  • Relevant experience in data analytics and data visualization
  • Experience managing database development projects is a plus
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated proficiency with adapting to new environments and capacity to think in alternative ways
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities and work assignments
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in mapping or other GIS software a plus
  • Works well with management, peers, clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to work well with a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Possess a professional manner and appearance when representing the Company
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of business ethics
  • Comfortable with both Mac and PC
  • Experience with Adobe suite of products (Reader & Illustrator) a plus
